About the Position
The Sales Operations Associate is instrumental to the sales team, providing day to day administration of operational tasks, and supporting revenue growth and increased sales productivity by providing effective methodologies, efficient processes, and sales tools. This position works closely with the sales team to create an environment that inspires an enthusiastic, innovative, and highly motivated sales force and provides support to help the team achieve its objectives. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment using flexibility & multi-tasking skills while providing world-class customer service and support.
 
Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Ensure alignment between sales leadership, sales team, and cross-functional teams to drive cohesive and effective sales efforts
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure that day to day tactical routine customer requests are accurately managed to allow the sales team to focus on deal generation and more strategic priorities
  • Provide operational effectiveness and efficiency for customer meetings through sales calendar management
  • Create and coordinate agendas, PowerPoint presentations, and supporting documentation for successful customer meetings
  • Coordinate the management and completion of Account, Opportunity, Meeting, and Close Plans ensuring they are well defined and managed throughout the sales cycle
  • Utilize salesforce.com reporting and validation of opportunities in the pipeline as they move forward in the sales cycle
  • Project management to ensure accurate and timely completion for all RFI/RFP/security questionnaire packages
  • Create and monitor sales metrics dashboards for all selling teams New/Existing Business Development
  • Create the sales financial reports and provide high-level analysis on recommended reports that are easily usable by the sales team
  • Assist the marketing team with the creation and management of the timeline and activities for industry events
  • Manage and support the sales team with pricing calculator and internal pricing for customer-facing proposals
  • As an expert user of salesforce.com, help enable the sales team to properly leverage tools required to ensure accurate reporting and visibility to sales force activity
  • Gather ongoing input from sales and other IDS departments to monitor system use and benefits such as tracking license associated with specific projects
 
About You
  • 2+ years of coordination, administration, or operational support experience in a sales organization
  • 1+ year of experience with salesforce.com; administration and report creation and generation required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance or similar discipline preferred
  • Ability to perform financial analysis and report development required
  • Proficient with MS Office product suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional projects
