About the Position
The sales and marketing coordinator will help keep the sales and marketing departments running smoothly and enable the successful interaction with customers both in sales meetings and through internal and external event management. This includes owning the sales and marketing calendars, leading event coordination, and ensuring we have the right materials for meetings and events. This position will leverage salesforce.com as the primary tool to capture sales and marketing initiatives. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment using flexibility & multi-tasking skills.
 
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
  •  Ensure alignment between sales and marketing leadership, sales team and all cross-functional teams across the enterprise to drive cohesive and effective sales efforts. This includes:
    • Calendar management
    • Coordination of aligned sales materials preparation salesforce.com management (lead to close data management, reporting, and dashboards)
    • Event project management – own industry and internal event logistics and budget
    • Coordinate timely completion for all RFI/RFP/security questionnaire packages
    • Create the sales financial reports and provide high-level analysis on recommended reports that are easily usable by the sales force
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure day to day tactical, routine customer requests are accurately managed to allow the team to focus on deal generation and strategic priorities.
  • Manage and support the sales team with pricing calculator and internal pricing for customer-facing proposals.
 
About You:  
 
  • 2+ years of administrative/operational sales experience and or experience working within a sales or marketing organization in a support role
  • 1 year of experience with salesforce.com administration, including report creation/generation
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, finance or similar discipline desired
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks/assignments/projects
  • Strong written & oral communication to accomplish tasks & manage projects from start to finish
  • Proficient with MS office products with demonstrated ability to perform financial analysis and create relevant reports
